Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 :
To ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to
meet the challenges of teaching at Elementary, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels,
one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher
in any of the schools recognized by the Department of School Education, Haryana and affiliated by the Board of School Education, Haryana is that he/she should have passed the “Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test”. “HTET” being conducted by this Board in accordance with these Guidelines and such other rules / regulations / instructions / policies laid down by the National Council for Teacher Education/Department of School Education, Haryana.

- 12th Passed with at least 50% marks or Passed / Appearing
in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 Year B.el.ed Course or 2 Year Diploma in Education (special Edition)
- Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi
as one of the subjects.

- Graduate with at least 50% marks or BTC/JBT/D.Ed/B.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education) or 4 Year B.El.Ed/BA.B.ed with 50% Marks in respective teaching Subject or Passed / Appearing
in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 Year B.el.ed Course or 2 Year Diploma in Education (special Edition)
- Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matric or Hindi as one of the subject in Higher Education.
